Where to Visit in Conneticut

For the amusement park aficionado, there are few places as beautiful and charming as Conneticut amusement parks. Located in the beautiful Baden area of Wisconsin, these amusement parks are second only to WDW (Walt Disney World) for natural beauty and charm. They are also second only to Disneyland in terms of sheer size! Whether you enjoy water rides, roller coasters, or any other kind of ride, these amusement parks have it all.

The first place to check out for a little entertainment in Conneticut is their Riverflow Water Park: Here, guests can immerse themselves in an exhilarating raft ride that travels along a river. Of course, there are many other attractions here, including a nature center that showcases a variety of exhibits on various wildlife and plants. The Riverflow Water Park offers live entertainment most days of the week. This is also the place to find special seasonal deals on several Disney and theme park merchandise.

The second park to check out is Cedar Point Amusement Park: While it is a bit away from the big cities, it still offers some great entertainment. The Cedar Point Amusement Park offers seven themed areas, including Wild Water Wilderness, Twilight Lagoon, Sea Lion Family Secrets, Hurricane Harbor, and Sand Trap. The Twilight Lagoon offers two different experiences: one that shows how darkness can make us sleep better and one that uses fog to induce dreams. These two options are offered year-round. Other activities include go-karting, fishing, camping, and thrilling indoor rock climbing.

The third park is located in Rockford, Wiscna: The Rockford Amusement Park offers entertainment for families, as well as singles. There are two locations, one inside the Rockford City Hall and one outside. Inside, there are over fifty attractions including an indoor roller coaster, multiple water slides, a wave pool, and more. There are also numerous dining options and great shopping. Outside, the main area has a stage for music and comedy performances, as well as a covered play area for kids.

The fourth park is located right in Rockford, Connecticut: The Montessori Village is located within the village area. Here, children and teens of all ages will find much opportunity to learn about nature, while having fun. This is because the entire premise of the village is dedicated to educating children about environmental conservation and responsibility. There are various workshops, lectures, science programs, art activities, as well as nature programs. The Rockford City Hall is also a great place to purchase gifts, or to attend special ceremonies.

Conneticut amusement parks offer many different types of parks for you to choose from: Each has their own set of characteristics that ensure a great time for everyone. Be sure to visit a few of these parks before making a final decision on where you would like to go. The fun never stops at these places, as you are bound to find a new one to love every time you visit.

And, while you’re at it, don’t forget to check out some of the shops located in these areas.
